Woven

Ladies, thank you so much for another great week. We have made it through all 50 chapters of Genesis. If you've never read through Genesis before, I hope you were pleasantly surprised by the excitement, the adventure, the drama, and the people. The Old Testament is full of stories.... the stories of the people God chose to bring forth His seed.

My prayer is that our Woven study makes us all want to read through scripture (even the Old Testament). We certainly didn't read all of Genesis, but it will be so worth a read through.

Because we've finished up the stories included in the book of beginnings, I have planned to share the following sermon with you. It's called Plot Twist. And, haven't we read some plot twists.

As I was running errands today, though, I listened to this podcast, and I am certain I felt the Lord leading me to share this instead. You'll have to listen all the way to the end to hear mention of some of our characters. But, I know you'll hear (in interview form) the story of God's redemption throughout.

So, we've said, "goodbye," to all of the Patriarchs. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were buried. At the end of Genesis, Joseph requested that his bones be carried out of Egypt when the Hebrews moved on. Next week, we will start that journey back to the Promised Land.
