Dear Lord, Thank you for the best Good News ever given to man! What is this Good News? Jesus Christ is born! The Word became flesh! God is with us! There is light in our darkness, hope in our calamity, and peace in our confusion. There is forgiveness of sins, beauty from ashes, and salvation for souls. There is joy in our trials, glory in our hearts, and love in our relationships. There is the gift of our faith, the indwelling of his Spirit, and the treasure of eternal life. Indeed, "a little baby in a manger changes everything"! May we unashamedly declare the Good News from the mountaintops all season long so that JESUS will be proclaimed to the world you love. Amen.
