"Looking for Lovely"

At the beginning of the summer, I stumbled upon the newest worship album from Northpoint Church. On that album is a song called, “This is My Song.” It is my favorite on the whole album. The words connected to a deep place within my soul. So many of the lines from the church songs of my childhood are wound into this song, and I feel it is truly my song.

God, I’m so thankful for music. I feel like I’ve written this in prayer a million times. What an honor to be invited into the personal stories of songwriters. How amazing that Your story with them encourages me in my story as well. Please draw us all closer to You through praise and worship today. Amen.
