Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. (Psalm 126:5-6)
What do the words of Psalm 126:5-6 offer you after a chapter like “Tragedy?” Oh, how I wish we could sit and talk about it together. I imagine the last two days of study mixed with your personal story have created so much space for God to speak clearly through His Spirit. And I want to hear about it.
Today, though, we have another chapter to read. It’s called “Farmer’s Market.” Annie has written another chapter that makes me want to go to Nashville and visit her spot AGAIN! Now, I'll add the famer's market to my list with The Ryman. She’s also written a story filled with thought provoking statements. I would love for all of you to share one statement from your reading that stuck out to you today. Let’s fill the comments section with quotes from the chapter. I'll start by sharing mine,
"I'm believing what I cannot see because of what I can see." (page 84)
God, You do sow with tears sometimes. When we join You, we always reap with songs of joy. We believe it! Help us in our unbelief. Amen.
