"Looking for Lovely"

Hopefully, you’re seeing this bright and early. The sunrise is waiting for you just outside. Gather your Bible, your journal, and anything else you need and head out to meet with God in His lovely creation.
Read Psalm 19.
“God’s splendor is a tale that is told, written in the stars. Space itself speaks his story through the marvels of the heavens. His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftmanship. Each day gushes out the message to the next, night by night whispering its knowledge to all – without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard, yet all the world can hear its echo. Everywhere its message goes out. What a heavenly home God has set for the sun, shining in the superdome of the sky!”
Friends, regardless of where you are, you can rest in the Truth that just as carefully as God placed the sun in the sky, He is caring for you. You have a heavenly home in Him, now and forevermore.
I’m writing this post on Saturday. I was sitting on the couch all alone with my computer when my daughter rushed in to sit with me after a friend dropped her off at home. This morning, they randomly decided to get up early and head to the beach for a sunrise devotion. She had no idea what I was writing about but pulled out her phone to show the beaty of this morning’s sunrise. So, regardless of what time it is when you read the beautiful words of Psalm 19, you can marvel in the beauty of a sunrise.
What has your study of Psalm 19 spoken to you about a search for lovely?
God, remind us today that You are here, You are making all things new, and You have a deep care and affection for us, your daughters. Amen.
