Monday, February 7 ACTS Ezekiel 36: 25-27 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. A Prayer using the above Scripture and ACTS Adoration: Heavenly Father, How gracious you are to cleanse me from head to toe in every way possible. You are the Spirit Giver to all that are in desperate need of new life in you. How can we praise you enough for giving us new hearts with the ability to give and receive love ? You make our lives worth living . Confession: With these priceless gifts you give, I admit I am sometimes working in opposition quenching your beautiful Spirit within me. Please forgive me when I take the reins and and make something so pure into something displeasing to you. Thanksgiving: Thank you Lord, that you continue to pursue me and love me regardless of what I do. Each morning "your mercies are new" and you offer me a clean slate by washing and renewing me . I am grateful for your abundant gifts that always remain the same and for your never ending patience with me and my ways. Supplication: Father, I ask that you will continue to soften my heart towards you. Help me to see what your will is for me daily and give me the desire to heed the Spirit that abides in me. I ask for more of you and less of me. I want my life to be a reflection of you . Use these verses and ACTS to write your own personal prayer in your journal. Ladies, when I read this scripture I was overwhelmed with the reminder of how our Gift Giver just keeps on giving to an undeserving sinner like me. He washes me off and renews his Spirit in me every day and seems to never tire of pouring out on me! Will you share your thoughts on what this scripture meant to you on this Monday?
